Where does the data come from?+
Directly from Mojang’s public profile API and the open-source Crafatar / mc-heads skin renderers. We don’t scrape, store or resell anything.
Can I search by UUID instead of name?+
Not yet from the home search, but you can hit /player/<uuid> directly. Native UUID search lands soon.
Why does my friend’s name not show up?+
Bedrock-only accounts and unmigrated legacy Mojang accounts aren’t indexed by the Mojang Java API. We only cover Java Edition.
Do you keep a log of who I look up?+
No. We don’t log queries to any persistent storage. The only thing that gets cached is the public profile response itself, for 5 minutes, to make things fast.
Is there an API I can use?+
Yes. Every page on YuuTiers is backed by a public REST endpoint &mdash; check the docs for the full schema.
